Hi, I’m Jodi
It’s time to take control of your health and live life on your terms.
“The first wealth is health”
Ralph Waldo Emerson (1860)
I see you struggling the way I did, frustrated and stuck by either your poor emotional or physical health.
- I see you sick and tired of being sick and tired!
- I see you annoyed at not being able to do the things you used to do because your physical health is limiting you.
- I see you fed up, and still in emotional pain no matter how many specialists you’ve seen.
- I see you losing hope that nothing is ever going to change and how unbelievably sad that makes you.
- I see you feeling disconnected and disengaged in life – knowing there has to be more to life than this.
- I see you overwhelmed with your new diagnosis and not really sure what that means for you.

This does NOT have to be the case.
You don’t have to struggle any longer. But I totally get it, because I’ve been in your shoes.
You want to take charge of your health and live your life on your terms, naturally, after burnout, but you have no idea where to start.
Hi there, I’m Jodi.
My purpose here on earth is to help you take control of your health, naturally after burnout.
As a Transformational Energy Medicine Practitioner, I empower burnt-out healthcare professionals go from surviving to thriving – combining my cardiac nursing expertise with transformational energy medicine to support your heart health, calm your nervous system, and restore balance from the inside out. This is science-meets-soul care for those who give so much to others and are finally ready to give back to themselves.
Here Is My Story
I had a great childhood growing up in country Western Australia. But things changed dramatically when I was sent away to boarding school at the age of fourteen.
This is the I first time I remember anxiety becoming a constant part of my life. I felt like a caged animal. In order to deal with it I stopped eating and stuck my head in my books.
Although I didn’t know it then, I was living in constant fight and flight. All I knew is that I hated it.
From this teenage lens, I started making choices about my life. Whilst most people would be proud and celebrate success winning two academic prizes in each of my final two years of schooling, I made the choice to not even attend the graduation.
Concerned friends and family suggested that I not put myself under the stress of a six year medical degree. I ended up being one of the first University Graduates with a Bachelor of Nursing Degree. Again receiving two academic prizes at graduation that I didn’t attend or celebrate.
I left the city for my first nursing job in Port Hedland, northern Western Australia.

I was restless, overwhelmed and searching, so within my first two years after graduating I’d had three jobs in three different places around Australia.
Always feeling empty and dissatisfied. I went off again, this time travelling to the UK and Europe, with no real plans, other than to not do nursing. I was continually running away.
6 months later I was back in Australia again, completely lost.
Then, I met an English man. He was quite a bit older than me and was going to be the answer to all my insecurities, which were numerous. After a short courtship, we married.
I had such a low opinion of myself when we met, and things just kept getting worse. I was vulnerable and he, controlling.
13 years in we had a daughter and two years later, a son. And we continued to move a lot, never being part of any community for any length of time.
By this time I had been banished to the spare room with the dog, as I worked full time nursing, which included night shift. When I wasn’t working, I was criticized for even speaking and playing with my children, I had no input into their daily life. So, after 20 years, I left.
As a parent, can you ever imagine what the circumstances would have to be like to walk out on your children?
Well, that was me 11 years ago.
I was encouraged to see a psychologist regularly and was told anti-depressants would probably help get me through even my most difficult days – the ones where I got up and cried for the whole 45 minute walk to work and then did the same thing at the end of my shift on my walk home.
After twelve months, I was more angry and frustrated than ever because nothing had changed!! Seeing a psychologist had just kept me in my same sorry story, and the antidepressant had just numbed me!!… I knew there had to be another way.
So, with the help of a GP I weaned myself off the anti-depressants…..
Took a leap of faith…and began my healing journey
I was introduced to yoga, thinking it would be a useful form of exercise, I quickly realised as a form of energy medicine, it offered me so much more. For the first two weeks of doing yoga I was in tears, and felt so much better afterwards, so I knew something was going on, but had no idea what. Six months later I moved to the country so I could have more time to work on me, and started a yoga teacher training course.
Surrounded By A Heart Felt Community…
From the first weekend of the training, being surrounded by a heart-felt community for the first time as an adult, I very quickly went from the opinionated, angry woman, to be able to create space to bring in some calm, and things started to change. The lens I’d been living my life through since boarding school started to change.
Three months later I started an Energy Psychology Diploma. I dug deep, found out about me, learnt tools, techniques and modalities, and the anxiety symptoms started to retreat.
If I said it was easy, I’d be lying. There have been some monumental moves and changes along the way, lots of heart ache, tears, learning and growth. And I’m so grateful for all of it.
In that time I have moved from Australia to be near my children in Manchester, UK, knowing only my ex-husband and my children!
Now, 11 years on, several qualifications later, I am living with my daughter. I have a healthy relationship with both of my children and we love spending time together. I am friends with my ex-husband. I have a growing community of friends and people I care about and finally feel I have a home.
When life happens, as it does, it’s now second nature what to do if an emotion, thought or symptom, that doesn’t feel great, surfaces.
On a professional note…
Having worked in acute care as a specialist cardiac nurse for 30 years, both around Australia, and here in the UK, where I am currently residing, I have seen what does and does not work in the health system.
I hold a post-graduate certificate in intensive care and thrived on the responsibility, precision, and high-stakes environment – until the relentless pace, system pressures, and emotional demands finally caught up with me. I burnt out.
But burnout wasn’t the beginning of my healing journey – it was the point where I could no longer ignore the call to step fully into the path I had already been walking for years. Long before I left the health system, I had been exploring and training in holistic modalities – yoga, mindfulness, energy psychology, the Grace Method, OmShakti Healing, Reiki, hypnosis, and Eden Energy Medicine. I studied and practiced these part-time, weaving them into my life as I searched for meaning, balance, and a deeper way to support both myself and others.
Now, I bring both worlds together. I understand the realities of working in healthcare – the dedication, the overwhelm, the burnout – because I’ve lived it. And I also know the way through. My work now focuses on empowering burnt-out healthcare professionals to reduce stress, rebalance their bodies, and optimise their health using simple, powerful mind-body-soul tools. It’s time we start caring for the carers.
Now, having created a step by step approach to take control of your health, I am working with clients, getting to the core of their symptoms, transforming lives, and feeling incredibly grateful for it. I just love what I do.
It is the combination of both clinical and spiritual healing that makes my work unique.
